拓荒者隊最近將Hassan Whiteside交易到薩克拉曼多國王隊，這意味著Kanter可能會擔任首發中鋒Jusuf Nurkic的替補。

雖然上賽季Kanter在塞爾特人隊效力期間從數據來看的確是明顯下滑，場均只有8.1分7.4籃板，但考慮到他場均只有16.9分鐘的上場時間，他還是非常有效率的。
