Steve Kerr曝Michael Jordan離開NBA轉打棒球的原因 精選

Michael Jordan曾經在1993-94賽季年第一次離開NBA，選擇了投身棒球界，加入了芝加哥白襪隊的Double-A成員 - 伯明翰男爵隊。然而他在棒球界沒有很成功，所以只打了一年就回歸NBA。

曾經跟Michael Jordan當了五年隊友的Steve Kerr最近接受ESPN的Rachel Nichols訪問，談到了Jordan退出NBA然後轉投棒球界的背後原因：

Steve Kerr認為Jordan會離籃壇而去打棒球的原因就是只有他自己感受到的自我審查而造成激動的情緒。當Kerr去到公牛時，他看到當時 Jordan 的生活和其他人的對比，那簡直是瘋狂的。Kerr認為Jordan只是受夠了，想出走一下然後當他準備好的時候就回來了。

“I will always maintain that the reason he went and played baseball was because he was fried emotionally from the scrutiny that really only he felt.” Kerr said on Wednesday. “Just watching him, by the time I got there, watching the life that he led compared to everybody else — it was insane.”

“I think he had had enough and just stepped away for a little while and then came back and was ready to roll,” Kerr added.

Steve Kerr在1993年以自由球員的身份加入公牛，並在接下來的五個賽季中跟Jordan渡過了許多奪冠的歷史時刻。在效力公牛的五個賽季中，Kerr多以替補球員角色平均每場貢獻8.2分和2.2助攻，而投籃命中率高達50.7％，三分命中率高達47.9％。
