【永遠都是好兄弟】Kevin Garnett對Ray Allen將可能參加名人堂進駐儀式表達了感想

NBA官方預訂8月28至30日為2020年度的名人堂進駐儀式，屆時Kevin Garnett將成為其中一員。

回想起Kevin Garnett，Ray Allen，Paul Pierce人稱塞爾特人三巨頭，加上Rajon Rondo這個四人組合，在2008年為塞爾特人奪得NBA總冠軍。四人當時的感情很好，但在Ray Allen無聲無息的離開加入熱火的情況下，塞爾特人三巨頭被逼拆夥。之後Kevin Garnett和Paul Pierce一同離開加盟網隊，自此之後四人沒有再聚舊。時至今天，Kevin Garnett，Paul Pierce和Rajon Rondo均沒有任何抱怨，然而Garnett並不打算強行藉名人堂進駐儀式機會邀請Ray Allen重聚。

引用然而，Kevin Garnett表示自己很歡迎Ray Allen到場出席名人堂進駐儀式，畢竟都過了一段很長的時間，是時候破冰了，只是不會強行要求他到場：

Garnett在週一回應The Boston Globe的Gary Washburn：「那並不重要，我沒有膽量去要求他們這樣做（一同出席）。我不是一個這樣的人。如果他們是出於己見去做的話，沒關係。那個08年的團隊，我有跟他們每一個聯絡。我們永遠都是好兄弟。不多不少。」

「我不要玩任何遊戲。真的就真的，假的就假的。想要對這些事物表示感謝的人，很酷。我絕對不會把這些事情加諸別人身上。那團隊，那是難兄難弟。」

「包括Ray (Allen)。」

“That’s not important,” Garnett told Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe on Monday. “I wouldn’t dare ask those guys to do that. I’m not a guy to do that. If someone wants to do something on their own, fine. That ’08 team, I have connections with everybody on that team. We will forever be brothers. Nothing more, nothing less.

“I don’t want any games. If it’s real, it’s real, if it’s not, it’s not. People who want to show their appreciation for whatever it is, that’s cool. I would never put that on any of those guys. That team, those are bros for life.

“That includes Ray.”

在2012年，Garnett和Pierce不能忍受Allen離開團隊加入一支當時的球隊宿敵。直至2018年Ray Allen進入名人堂，Garnett和Pierce都沒有參加他的名人堂進駐儀式。至於Ray Allen會不會反過來參加Garnett的名人堂進駐儀式，讓人十分期待。
