「My Boy」JaVale McGee:「加盟小牛令他興奮，希望在這裡獲得總冠軍。」

今年夏天，「My Boy」JaVale McGee選擇加盟小牛，而雙方簽下的是一份2年期的底薪合同。而日前McGee接受了小牛官網的訪問，並談到自己加盟的原因，以及表示自己希望可以在小牛奪得總冠軍。
過去三季，McGee因傷等不同的原因，合共只在常規賽上陣了28場比賽。不過，如今成功加盟小牛後，他將迎來100%康復的自己，而由於小牛本來的正選中鋒Tyson Chandler己離開，故McGee將可能獲得不少上陣的機會。

McGee表示，能夠加盟小牛令他非常興奮，而這也是一個非常好的經驗，他非常榮幸能在這裡效力。而McGee希望自己未來能夠在這裡獲得贏下一座總冠軍。

簽約小牛其中一個主要原因，是這支球隊擁有非常出色的訓練師團，而訓練用的材料也多於其他球隊，這是非常好的事。

談到自己的狀態時，McGee表示自己正找回昔日巔峰的狀態，他因傷病而令其表現停滯不前，如今100%康復的自己將會有最佳表現。

談到自己與其他小牛內綫的分別時，McGee表示自己最強的就是運動能力，他知道球隊擁有不同類型的中鋒，故將會出現很大競爭。不過這就是籃球的吸引之處，有競爭球隊才會變得更好。

上季McGee分別在金塊以及76人效力，平均上陣時間為11.1分鐘，可以取得4.6分2.7籃板0.9封阻。
