Catch and shoot的意思就是在接應隊友的傳球後，第一時間投射，這是在NBA中一項非常常見的投射投術之一，講求的就是出手的速度，以減低被對方干擾的快速出手投射動作。
大部份這項Catch and Shoot技術都會在射手中出現，像鷹隊的Kyle Korver以及勇士的Klay Thompson等等，而Stephen Curry那種投射則是憑自己的控球技術而找空位出手。

1、Kyle Korver(鷹隊)
上季Korver整季在Catch and shoot的情況下獲得了638分，是所有球員當中排名第一的，平均每仗Catch and shoot得分多達8.5分。而Korver在Catch and shoot命中率方面，兩分球為50.1%，三分球為50.4%，非常恐怖。

2、J.J Redick(快艇)
上季Redick整季在Catch and shoot的情況下獲得了622分，是所有球員當中排名第二的，平均每仗Catch and shoot得分為8分。而Redick在Catch and shoot命中率方面，兩分球為46.6%，三分球為45.4%，明顯已經與Korver有點差距了。

3、Dirk Nowitzki(小牛)
上季「德國槍」整季在Catch and shoot的情況下獲得了613分，是所有球員當中排名第三的，平均每仗Catch and shoot得分與Redick一樣為8分。而Dirk在Catch and shoot命中率方面，兩分球為44%，三分球為38.2%。

4、Klay Thompson(勇士)
上季「水花兄弟」之一的Klay Thompson整季在Catch and shoot的情況下獲得了604分，是所有球員當中排名第四的，平均每仗Catch and shoot得分與為7.9分。而Thompson在Catch and shoot命中率方面，兩分球為44.9%，三分球為46.5%。

5、Trevor Ariza(火箭)
以防守為己任的Ariza原來也是Catch and shoot非常出色的球員，上季他整季在Catch and shoot的情況下獲得了506分，是所有球員當中排名第五的，平均每仗Catch and shoot得分與Redick一樣為6.2分。而Ariza在Catch and shoot命中率方面，兩分球為36.3%，三分球為36.4%。
