LaMarcus Aldridge表示他希望留下來，也會盡快作出決定；Damian Lillard希望續約

拓荒者在敗給灰熊的比賽後，今個球季正式完結。但對於他們的管理層來說，今夏對他們相當重要，LaMarcus Aldridge將在今夏成為完全自由球員，而Damian Lillard也有權提前續約。
據<俄勒岡人報>報導，Aldridge在賽後再次被問到去向時，他表示希望留在拓荒者，在過去9年感覺非常捧，他不想就這樣結束。

引用"Of course I love being here, and I'm thankful for everything this city has given me, thankful for my time here. It's been an amazing nine years and of course I'm not trying to make that end.''

不過，他表示他先會好好休息，然後才和家人及經理人商討他的決定。Aldridge也坦承，他有一種希望被需要的感覺。而他也表示，7月1日當自由市場開啟的時候，他會盡快作出決定，不會拖拖拉拉。

引用"I'm definitely not one to prolong things or drag it out. That's not really my personality."

"I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to be wanted, because it would mean you are one of the top players at your position. But there's good and bad that comes with it, and I will have to deal with it. I'm just looking to get rest and I will figure the rest out later.''

至於兩年前獲得最佳新秀的Damian Lillard，他在記者會表示，希望與拓荒者續約。在明星賽後，Lillard的表現一直不穩，而在季後賽也沒有打出球迷期待的表現，因此受到了不少批評。不過Lillard卻不關心，認為數據不會說謊。

今個球季，Lillard打足了82場比賽，場均上陣35.7分鐘，得到21分、6.2個助攻的4.6個籃板，其中得分和籃板數字皆為個人新高。
