震驚！活塞裁掉Josh Smith，引來最少四間球會爭奪 精選

底特律活塞宣佈，他們把陣中前鋒Josh Smith裁掉。



教練Stan Van Gundy表示，經過三分之一的賽程，球隊需要作出調整和改變。而為了能令團隊更有靈活地發展，並給予年輕球員更多機會，他不得不裁掉Josh Smith。而他亦十分尊重Josh Smith，任由他自行決定往哪裡發展是最佳的方式。

引用Our team has not performed the way we had expected throughout the first third of the season and adjustments need to be made in terms of our focus and direction. We are shifting priorities to aggressively develop our younger players while also expanding the roles of other players in the current rotation to improve performance and build for our future. As we expand certain roles, others will be reduced. In fairness to Josh, being a highly versatile 10-year veteran in this league, we feel it’s best to give him his freedom to move forward. We have full respect for Josh as a player and a person.

活塞裁掉Josh Smith後，假若有球隊在工資帽以下，他們可以在48小時內以支持Josh Smith原來合約的薪金的方式競逐Josh Smith。但是Josh Smith在2013年所簽的4年5600萬合約要在2017年到期，除了費城76人外，根本沒有球隊能夠支付得到該合同。
而傷病特例和交易特例，則更有難度。因為擁有超過1050萬的交易特例和傷病特例也是一件難事。湖人因Nash和Randle的賽季報銷也只分別獲得了485萬和150萬美元的傷病特例。


因此，不會有球隊認領Josh Smith。只要48小時內沒有球會認投該合約，Josh Smith便會成為自由球員，可以以底薪合約加盟其他球會。而活塞將會繼續支付Josh Smith的原有薪金，活塞將以分期的方式支付Josh Smith的薪金，直到2020年。據了解，火箭、小牛、快艇和帝王等四支球會也希望得到這位全明星球員加盟。而當中火箭的機會也較大，因為他們比其他球隊有更多的薪金空間，而且他們一直希望補強四號位之餘，也希望得到全明星加盟。








活塞去季簽了Josh Smith後，Josh Smith一直融入不了球會，而且更惹來隊中另一大前鋒Greg Monroe不滿，並要求離隊。因此活塞過去一直希望兜售Josh Smith，卻不得要領。但以如今裁掉的方式來放棄Josh Smith，卻也令人十分意外。或許，下一個會是Brandon Jennings。
Josh Smith本季在活塞場均取得13.1分、7.2個籃板、4.7個助攻、1.3個偷球和1.7個封阻。
