人們認為絕殺球應交給超級球星處理，Kerr：因為他們是白痴 精選 推薦

在10月時，一份關於NBA總經理們的調查發現，有76.9%認為最希望Kevin Durant處理絕殺球。而過去，一直有不少球迷認為這些絕殺球，應交由Kevin Durant、Kobe Bryant和LeBron James等球星去處理。
在對塘鵝的比賽，金州勇士也得到一個絕殺的機會，但他們沒有交給Stephen Curry去處理。當時Stephen Curry傳給 Draymond Green，Green有空間射球，但他傳給更好位置的Klay Thompson。儘管不入，但這球的處理受到外界讚賞。

當勇士教練Steve Kerr被問到為何不讓Stephen Curry處理，而令球迷感到失望時，他語出驚人：「因為他們是白痴，重點是尋持一個很好的出手機會，而且當一個球員被包夾，他應該要傳出皮球。」

“It’s because people are idiots, that’s why. The point of the game is to get an open shot and if a guy’s double-teamed he should pass it. That’s the game.”
對於當天的處理，Kerr認為球隊處理得非常好，他也對球員的選擇感到信心。

“It’s making the right play. I didn’t want to rush. And I have 100 percent confidence in Draymond hitting that elbow jumper, if he were to take it. Or the play he made, to give it to Klay for his last-second shot. My job is to hopefully draw enough attention to make it easy on my teammates to make the plays.”

球員時代作為公牛的一分子，Steve Kerr充滿說服力。還記得1997年NBA總決賽，他主動要求處理絕殺球，而不是讓Michael Jordan，結果他成功了。在加盟初期，他受到Michael Jordan的輕視，但他的努力和對Michael Jordan的坦白，獲得後者對他的尊重。

另外，最近金州勇士成績優異，外界問到勇士有沒有機會打破當年公牛72勝10負的成績。Steve Kerr認為沒可能，因為勇士波有Michael Jordan。
