這是因為Nowitzki願意少收薪金，只簽下了3年2500萬美元的合約，讓球隊在自由市場中尋找像Parsons的球員加盟。

Nowitzki表示，他已經向Parsons說過，整季作客路上的晚餐將由Parsons負責，而有關的費用本身也是Nowitzki的金錢。
