明天將回Staples Center挑戰湖人 D'Angelo Russell: 球隊勝利放第一 精選

明天籃網將會作客挑戰湖人，D’Angelo Russell將會首次回到Staples Center迎戰老東家。今年夏天湖人用D’Angelo Russell和Timofey Mozgov作籌碼交易來Brook Lopez和一個首輪籤。其後湖人在選秀大會上得到Lonzo Ball，並將他確立為球隊未來核心地位。在交易完成後，湖人運營總裁Magic" Johnson表示交易D’Angelo Russell的原因是因為"球隊需要的是領袖"。
明天的比賽相當引人注目，被問到是否想向老東家證明自己已經有所進步時，D’Angelo Russell表示:"我想我在這個夏天已經變得更強，所以我肯定想在場上展現出來。但比賽還是講求勝利，所以我認為(證明自己)並不重要。"

引用When asked if he wants to show his old team that he’s an improved version of the player it had, Russell said, “I think I’ve gotten better over the summer. So I definitely want to go in there and showcase that. But it’s about winning basketball. [So] I think it doesn’t really matter.”

跟湖人的比賽是籃網西部五連客之旅的開始，Russell表示:"嬴下(客場之旅)的第一場比賽對我們而言很重要。Staple Center的球迷也許會很激動，但是我只希望能贏球。以一場失利來開始會讓我們接下來的幾場比賽都變得艱難。所以如果我們可以拿下第一場，接下來的客場比賽球隊都會很有緊張感。"

引用“Getting this first win is really important for us,” Russell said. “It’s going to be an exciting crowd about my comeback or whatever. But it’s really about winning for me. Starting off with a loss would be a tough one to stomach going into the next few games. So if we can get that first one, it would give us some intensity going into this road trip.”
