猶他州近期通過極具爭議性別法案 Silver表達2023年明星賽續辦立場

NBA總裁Adam Silver週四表示，雖然猶他州最近通過了一項極具爭議性的法案，但還沒討論或決定將2023年在鹽湖城舉辦的NBA全明星賽轉移陣地。
根據The Athletic 的Mike Vorkunov的報導，猶他州上個月通過一項HB11法案禁止跨性別運動員在他們認同的性別劃分中參與學校體育運動。

過去當北卡羅來納州於2016年通過HB2法案禁止跨性別者使用與其性別認同的公共廁所時，NBA聯盟的反應是直接將2017年全明星賽從夏洛特搬到了紐奧良以示反對立場。

對於這次猶他州法案與對北卡羅來納州法案做出不同反應的決定，Silver說：

引用“每種情況都是獨一無二的……我們的觀點是可以繼續在猶他州比賽，坦率的說，我們不希望處於在全國各地有不能比賽的情形發生。時代已經變了。與2017年相比，這個國家現在發生的問題不同。我個人不喜歡這種趨勢，做為一個聯盟，我們很注意尋找機會來團結人們而不是分裂他們。”

“我們將不得不找到一種在如此環境中工作的方法，為我們的比賽創造一個包容性的環境，而不是認為我們有某種獨立能力來改變猶他州選民的想法。”

HB11最著名的反對者之一是爵士隊老闆Ryan Smith，他上個月發表過聲明稱爵士球團“反對歧視性立法”。如果2023年全明星賽最終如期在猶他州舉行，將是自1993年爵士球星Karl Malone和John Stockton共享MVP 榮譽以來首次在鹽湖城舉辦全明星賽。
