76人助教Dave Joerger罹患頭頸癌 將暫離工作崗位

定期健康檢查以及隨時注意自己身體變化相當重要，至少費城76人助理教練Dave Joerger分享了自身經驗，希望提醒大家多重視自我檢測是否異常以即時就醫診治。
47歲的Joerger週六晚上與溜馬賽後在賽後會議上告訴76人所有成員，他罹患了頭頸癌。過去2週在他仍持續在工作崗位只缺席了一場客場比賽，但球隊已告知他接下來的長途客場之旅別隨隊而是留在費城接受治療。

引用總教練Doc Rivers在聲明中表示：“Dave不僅是 NBA 中最有才華和最受尊敬的教練之一，而且還是一位很好的朋友、同事、丈夫和父親。” “使他成為一名成功教練同樣的積極、熱情和勇氣也將幫助他戰勝癌症。”

引用Joerger：“我們很早就發現了它，我很幸運有90%以上的痊癒率，但這很可怕，這種經歷並不愉快。我不能跟著球隊去全國各地的不同城市進行化療，為了繼續我的治療，我需要離開球隊。”

Joerger是在大約一年半前發現到他的喉嚨有一個腫塊，掃描結果為陰性後他一直在監測腫塊是否有所變化。大約5週前，憂心的Joerger打電話給他的醫生。

引用“我每天早上刮鬍子的時候都會盯著我的臉看，我很敏感…我知道腫塊就在那裡。我們又做了一次掃描，那是你這輩子都會記得的日子之一。我們在多倫多，醫生給我發訊息說：我們需要談談。讓我們馬上處理它。”

Joerger過去擔任曼菲斯灰熊總教練的3個賽季中，球隊都打進入了季後賽。 他在2016年轉戰成為沙加緬度國王的總教練，他在那執教了3個賽季。他的教練生涯戰績為245勝247負 (.498)，季後賽戰績為9勝13負 (.409)。

Joerger特別感謝了76人球團以及Rivers在確診後對他的支持，並幫助他兼顧了工作與醫療能同時進行，我們也一起期待Joerger的後續醫療成功，早日重返工作崗位。
