Hield還會在國王多久？總管證實休賽期間曾進行過交流

關於Buddy Hield的交易傳聞已經好幾個賽季了，某方面來說代表他是有著一定行情的，他也甘願從板凳出發為國王繼續支援長程砲火，一個大三分時代的頂尖射手不愁工作，只是不知道未來的感覺才是不好受。
在上個賽季就有人信誓旦旦那是Hield最後一次穿著國王球衣了，到了7月份，將被交易到洛杉磯湖人的新聞鋪天蓋地。當時傳聞湖人提出的籌碼是Montrezl Harrell和Kyle Kuzma，甚至在交易破局後，Kuzma受訪還表示非常震驚沒有完成。


國王總管Monte McNair最近接受採訪並沒有證實上述的交易，但坦承曾在休賽季與Hield進行了交流。

引用McNair：我不知道人們是否真的懂得欣賞Buddy有多麼想贏，還有工作多麼努力以及每晚的表現如何。去年有一場比賽，他受傷後一拐一拐的離開球場，我猜他就只是把鞋子綁得很緊然後就上場了，因為他甚至沒有走到後面休息室。

當然還有他的投籃，對吧？。聯盟中還有另一個人是非常出色的射手（顯然是Curry）。Buddy是聯盟排名前兩名的射手之一。

是的，我們在休賽期進行了一些關於交易的對話。我不想講得太詳細，總之就像對待成年人一樣對待Buddy。他對我也是如此，我說，看，你知道你的名字已經出現了。但如果它什麼也沒發生，你就會回來。

嗯.....一段有講跟沒講差不多的訪問，唯一可以確定的是國王真的一直試圖交易Hield，否則不需要有所謂的對話。

當然國王走到季中的戰績會是重要關鍵，能有機會打季後賽勢必不會動到Hield，但只有戰績不佳或是看不到未來願景，那麼這位射手將很快為一支更有競爭力的球隊效力。

I mean, there was a game last year (where) he was like limping off the court and I guess he just tied a shoe tight and went right back out because he didn’t even go to the back. And then, of course (there’s) his shooting, right? …I’ll put them up there. There’s one other guy in the league who’s a pretty good shooter (clearly referencing Steph Curry). But Buddy is right there as one of the top two shooters in the league. His job is to let it fly, and he’s doing it.

And yeah, we had some (trade) conversations over the offseason. I don’t want to go into too much detail there, but (the approach was to) treat Buddy like the adult that he is and I think he appreciated that. He does the same with me. And I said, ‘Look, you know, obviously your name has been out there. But if it doesn’t work out, if nothing happens, you come back, you’re expected to let it fly.’ And he’s been doing that.
