Shams Charania在Instagram上發布聲明，指他很興奮地宣布將會在本月尾加盟The Athletic以及Stadium，並擔任NBA首席高級編輯及爆料記者，對於能夠加入The Athletic以及Stadium他感到相當興奮。同時Sham也表示能夠在Yahoo工作是他的榮幸，他也在聲明中感謝了Yahoo高層和編輯團隊。
