在勇士不敵火箭的Game 2後， Draymond Green的媽媽Mary Babers在Twitters上連番發文，當中包括回應一個關於Kevin Durant的Twitter，有網民表示Game2 KD用22次出手拿得38分已經很棒，問題出在其他隊友身上，Mary Babers回應指，比賽比得分更重要，勇士需要多傳球而不是單打。隨後Mary Babers更在Twitter上抨擊ESPN球評Stephen A. Smith。

Kevin Durant沒有在Twitters上直接回應，他今日接受Sports Illustrated記者Ben Golliver訪問時表示，他很愛Mary Babers，就像她是自己媽媽一樣。
